Not really a fan of the quest lines being spread apart like this, but maybe Anet actually has a reason for it. Maybe.

Perhaps the next two quests are closer to the first quest than the second in difficulty?

I imagine this means that the third and fourth quests won't be as long as the second... hence they gave us more time to figure it out and finish it. Could be wrong, but "paced in a particular way" gives me the impression that they gave us more time for a quest requiring more time.
Either way, I'm 5 chars through with 5 to go. Should easily be able to finish comfortably tonight and tomorrow. I hope the reward at the end is decently worthwhile, but nothing like a mini... I'm still keeping my hopes up for the Mad King's Guard Mini being worth boo-koo bucks for a while (and getting one from the Art Contest ).

Or maybe they found something in between. Not so much in terms of difficulty, but length.

Perhaps! My point being that the next two quests are probably easier and/or shorter.

Why do people continue to ask this?
There are only 20 confirmed, all to be given out by the Halloween Art Contest. Assuming there will be any more dished out any time soon is silly.

Bet ya we will have to catch a skeleton of Dhuum at every single reaper spawn point and carry it to the hall of judgement or something like that.
Would fit the gw.dat skill description and since the quests are in order and the last one was a master dificulty (at least in name) it seems unlikely that they would go down on difficulty/time needed to complete.

Regina said on incgamers that there wasn't a new quest today to give us time to complete this one. Seems unlikely that the next two will be as long.

finally finished 2nd quest after the nth time for one char X__x;; --- hey some here are just casual gamers with day jobs like me haha X__x;;, though did appreciate the heart-thumping experience and UW memorization and making it 2 days, Anet. and giving excuse to use sweets (was on blue+green rock almost the whole time)
i don't know if i want to do this again though...ever haha (if next halloween is still like this i'd probably just skip 2nd quest altogether, if the very end quest would not have a great reward). i wonder though --- no quests for the "weekends-only players" then considering how this looks like chained?
really helps putting the pits first. and kd-ing as fast and as many nearest golems and just use peace if something somewhere manages to hit you with hex (so you could run off and recuperate mainly to that part uphill before the last 4 golems en route to Reaper). 10 seconds of kd really makes a lot of difference.

There are at least two different styles to clear the Bone Pits, both of which have their own charm. On my first character I did it thief style, observing patrols from afar and slowly skulking from one safe nook to another while waiting for #4 to recharge. On the subsequent characters I went John Woo style storming the place, shortest route to the shrine, never stopping or hesitating for a second. After a couple of runs I found out that the faster style is also safer, and goes like: Knock, knock! Run! Knock, knock! Knock! LOVE BOMB! Run! Knock, knock! Run! Knock, knock! Knock, knock! Who's there?

For some reason I found reaching the Bone Pits Reaper was a lot easier then getting out of the Bone Pits.
Later I found out it was due to using knockdown on mobs, broke their patrol patterns.

Because I don't like PvP? what? 1. Its not popular, 2. Its not interesting, its just another format you can grind for a shiny title, " didn't include a massive grindish system"... again, the title, if that is not grind the I don't know what is. 3. I was saying that It's a pretty big fail that a new arena with old maps, old outpost and some coding so the skills are randomized was "pretty hard to code", I can't imagine what is so effin hard to code about that. 4. who cares about AI?

1. It is popular 2.it is interesting because its not PVX only builds, it changes every day, you have to think actually to win, and cant spike.(restrictions on only one primary per group). Arent all titles grinding? ROFL 3. It was a combination of two arenas that both had issues. Only one title got scratched for another one. BIG DEAL. 4. AI change is important for VQ and HM missions they are if your doing h/h.

Mountains was the easiest part. Just keep moving, usually when you aggro them they cast traps, etc. and by the time they start attacking, you should be out of range already. They don't exactly do spectacular damage (unless you were naked?). Not that hard to dodge their projectiles as well even if sugar rush is recharging. It was the only place where the only skill I used was sugar rush.

One thing I found very usefull was the Spirit Radar for textmod made it easier to see when
they were all in range to use mad king skill.

I actually had a thought about Pits. When I did the second quest last night I DID check to see if Attributes remained the same but they had been changed to 0s. I had not noticed if you retained your armor or not but everyone making videos is using a Shield. My thought however is that Warriors MAY indeed have the leg up in Pits for one fact only. Now take it that I forgot to check if you RETAINED your armor in the quest and I know that your Health is set to 600 but what would happen if you used Lieutenant's Insignia???
Lieutenant's Insignia: "Reduce Hex Duration on you by 20%..."
Now I know it may not be a HUGE advantage, if it even worked at all. But other than using a Shield, using Rock Candy, etc. people have been looking for Any and ALL advantages just to manage to get through here.
